Dr Berte Marr

Dr Marr, who served various terms since 1994 as a board director in the TCM Association of BC and previously a project leader with the BC Ministry of Health, is the epitome of a true physician in the Chinese classical tradition. Passion, patience, knowledge, devotion, expertise, and excellence - these virtues define Dr Marr. Her extensive training in Canada and China included internships in famous TCM hospitals and advanced instruction in the complex Tung's Extra Points system. Dr. Marr's fascination with the essence of TCM finds her a tireless advocate, privately and publicly. In a 13-part TV documentary - "At Home with Herbs" - aired by many networks including the Knowledge Network, she expertly discusses a range of specialized topics. Besides having publications of her own, she has assisted doctors in China in producing TCM manuals and books in English.

Dr Philip Lin

Dr Lin's whole-hearted devotion to Traditional Chinese Medicine is echoed in his award-winning researches, his advanced degrees under renowned TCM professors, as well as his altruistic approach towards providing health care to all. In 2003, he spent 4 months in a remote Tibetan village of several thousand giving pro bono medical attention to the poor community. An expert TCM researcher and formulator, particularly in the field of women's gynecological health, Philip's fluency in Mandarin, English, and Taiwanese has placed him in various clinical and professional roles in North America, China, Taiwan and other Pacific Rim countries.
