Are you looking for a safe alternative in preventing damage to your eyes such as degenerative disorders, free-radical damage, cataracts and eye dryness, redness, and gritty sensations?

After extensive research, Bema Botanical Solutions Ltd. has created a powerful blend of antioxidants, photo-protective ingredients and herbal extracts that provide optimum nutrients to protect the eyes against many primary degenerative conditions.

VisionPro is a revolutionary new synergistic formulation combining the high quality blend of Eastern herbs with Western botanicals and supplements to provide a more complete blend of key ingredients for eye health.

VisionPro contains the highest quality of: Beta Carotene, Marigold Extract, Bilberry Extract, Chrysanthemum Extract (Ju Hua), Eyebright and Lycii Fructus Extract (Chinese Wolfberry).

Beta Carotene

Beta Carotene, converted in the human body to Vitamin A, possesses antioxidant functions and helps to reduce risks for age-related eye diseases such as macular degeneration and cataract.

In the eye, Beta Carotene is converted into retinol. The role of retinol in vision is significant while inadequate retinol to the retina results in impaired dark adaptation, known as "night blindness". As Beta Carotene becomes depleted, the quality of vision decreases.

The Vitamin A activity of Beta Carotene from supplements is indeed much higher than that of Beta Carotene obtained from foods. While excessive Vitamin A intake can be toxic, high doses of Beta Carotene have never been found to cause such toxicity. In fact, Beta Carotene is the best and safest source of Vitamin A as the body will only convert as much as is required.

Marigold

MarigoldMarigold flower is a rich source of lutein, which is a common carotenoid that promotes eye health. Lutein is one of the two primary pigments found in high concentrations in the macula, the center of the retina where color vision and central vision are produced.

The body does not synthesize lutein but the eye gradually loses lutein with age, therefore, supplementation is highly recommended. Researchers have also made the connection between lutein levels in the eye and age-related eye diseases; increasing concentrations of lutein in the eyes may help protect against macular degeneration and cataracts.

Another common age-related vision disorder, cataracts, appears to be caused by lens protein oxidation, Antioxidants such as lutein help maintain lens transparency and thus clarity by quenching free radicals. Lutein plays a vital role in reducing risks for advanced disease development.

Bilberry

BilberryBilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) is also known as European blueberry or huckleberry. It has ranked among the most popular supplements for treating a wide range of visual disorders. During World War II, pilots of Britain's Royal Air Force reported that their vision improved for night time bombing raids after eating Bilberry jam. Bilberry's history of medicinal use indeed dates back to the Middle Ages, but it did not become widely known to herbalists until the 16th century. Most of the Bilberry research has been focused on its application in ophthalmology.

Although Bilberry constituents have diverse pharmacological actions, the anthocyanosides from the berries is considered to be the most important of all and have contributed to Bilberry's primary roles in the prevention of cataracts and glaucoma, treatment of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, and improvement of night vision.

Chrysanthemum

ChrysanthemumIn the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the eyes are linked to Liver network. Chrysanthemum (Ju Hua) is known at clear heat from the Liver thus resolving painful dry eyes, excessive tearing, and floaters. Additionally, it serves as a common agent to the Liver to dissipate blurred vision.

Eyebright

EyebrightIn the wild, European Eyebright grows in meadows, pastures, and grassy places in Bulgaria, Hungary, and the former Yugoslavia. Eyebright is also grown commercially in Europe. The plant flowers in late summer and autumn. The whole herb is used in herbal medicine.

Eyebright has a long history of herbal use in the treatment of eye problems and is still used today. It tightens the mucous membranes of the eye and appears to relieve the inflammation of conjunctivitis and blepharitis. It is also helpful in other conditions of the eye such as stinging and weeping eyes as well as over-sensitivity to light.

Lycii

LyciiThis extract has been created from Lycii berries of a vibrant red colour pleasantly sweet and tender. These fruits are also known as matrimony vine fruits, Gou Qi Zi or Chinese Wolfberry. Historically the Chinese used Wolfberry (Gou Qi Zi) as a tonic to help balance the organ functions related to the eyes.

Extensive research shows that Lycii is known to provide relief for spots in eyes, floaters excessive tearing, poor or cloudy vision, poor night vision and all conditions of the eyes such as cataracts, diabetic retinopahty, macular degeneration, peripheral neuropathy and other ophthalmic disorders.

Who would benefit from VisionPro?

VisionPro is especially beneficial for reducing eye damage due to computer vision syndromes, over exposure to the sunlight, environmental pollution, and daily overuse.

VisionPro is also highly recommended as a regular daily supplement as we age; stare too long at artificial light sources, such as TV, computer monitors; or eat an unbalanced diet. Exposure to ultraviolet intensity from the sun, emission from electromagnetic fields by electric appliances, and artificial light sources has increased the risks to our eyesight. The retina is very susceptible to free-radical damage because of its high oxygen consumption, high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, and exposure to light.

It may be difficult to change our lifestyle to use our eyes less and let them rest more. However, we can still protect the eyes from damage by their most fearful enemies, free radicals caused by the external environmental and our own internal metabolism.
