The immense value of this rare mushroom found in the highlands of Eastern Tibet (over 13000 feet), which boosts energy, stamina, and vitality like no other herbs can, is ironically underscored by the heaps of fake cordyceps in almost every place where fine herbs and botanicals are bought and sold.

Thousands of cordyceps species exist, yet only one species is recognized as the authentic strain: hirsutella sinensis mycelia (Biochemical Systemics and Ecology [2001] 29:597-607). Now mainly commercially produced because of its rarity, market-sold cordyceps sinensis only shares an 82.791% similarity but Bema's ImmuneSupport has a 99.645% similarity with the original, natural cordyceps sinensis.

Echinacea (Echinacea Angustifolia)
